Compañera Tamara Sol has been granted parole after over five long years of prison, punishment and various transfers. This time, the compañera has left the Llanahue extermination center in Valdivia.
Let us remember that on January 21, 2014, the compañera was detained after shooting at a security guard at the State Bank in an act of revenge for the death of the anarchist compañero Sebastián Overluji. In February 2015, the compañera was condemned to seven years and 61 days in prison. Since then, she began a journey through prison with countless transfers and acts of punishment until arriving at last in the southern prison of Llancahue, known for torture and abuse. At that moment, she began the battle for “conditional freedom,” in spite of the continuous rejections on part of the jailers.
Today Tamara Sol is back in the streets…Joy and strength for her, her family and her close friends in the new pathways that open outside of the bars, locks and surveillance cameras.
