We denounce the director of this prison, Alejandro Constantino Hernández. Today, Thursday, November 21, at approximately 8:00am, he sent guards, led by Commander Ramiro, to intimidate us, threatening to transfer us. This was an aggression, psychological torture. Our compañero Pedro Pérez Jiménez was physically assaulted, pushed by a guard named Gener. These are acts of repression against the struggle that we have carried out since March 15 of this year. Our protest has been peaceful, demanding justice and freedom after so many years with sentences dictated for prefabricated crimes. Far from giving us a solution, they repress us. It is not the first time; we have always been objects of aggression. They have prohibited the introduction of our work materials, until we pay them 10% of the value of the material. They have taken our working tools from us. Prison is a place of slavery. The prison director is the biggest extortionist and exploiter. We have denounced his corruption in recent days. Thus, he has repressed us with more force. He always argues that he will do whatever he wants because he is friends with Ismael Brito Mazariegos, General Secretary of the Government. He is always making use of this powerful contact, ignoring our human rights.

That is why we call on the non-governmental human rights organizations, the independent social organizations, to be attentive to what might happen here because we fear for our physical well-being. If something happens, we hold directly responsible the director of this prison, Alejandro Constantino Hernández.

Sincerely,

Organization Viniketic en Resistencia
