We are a group of campsinxs of the community of San Francisco, municipality of Teopisca, adherents to the Sixth Declaration of the Lacandona Jungle of the EZLN, in defense of land and territory

Today September 19^th, we publically denounce the paramilitary group integrated by:

They are all members of the green ecologist party. To block our road to exit Teopisca, they were a few meters from our recuperated land. They were trying to intimidate us and prohibit the passage of our compañeros of the Sixth. They were allied with another choque group mostly of El Escalón, municipality of San Cristóbal de las Casas and other communities, to invade our recuperated land of which we have occupied. We recovered the land because we are the original peoples. We have been laborers here for 200 years.

We demand that the three levels of bad government respect out recovered land, our rights, and our self-determination. We also name responsible all of the people already mentioned, the choque group of the municipality of San Cristóbal de las Casas, Pedro Hernández Espinoza and the three levels of government for all of the aggressions that we can potentially suffer as adherents of the Sixth in our recovered land.
