The fascist state by means of its police forces uses repression as a means to solve social conflicts.
In the State Democratic Assembly of Section 40, we have always privileged dialogue. The means of social protest we have taken are meant to open a dialogue in which are just collective demands are met.
We will never make deals behind the scenes to demobilize. All of our demands are public and meant to benefit our conscious base that have taken to the streets to raise their voice against so much injustice.
Today, we denounce the repressive reaction of the state in utilizing the police forces to repress comrades of the AED who were carrying out a peaceful action in the vicinity of Chipasiónate Park in this capital city. We hold responsible the governor of the state Manuel Velasco Coello for the attacks committed against AED and the consequences that derive from such actions.
We reiterate once again, TEACHERS ARE NOT TERRORISTS. WE DEMAND A DIALOGUE where our just demands are attended to and solved.
End the criminalization of social protest!
Dialogue yes, repression no!
End the state terrorism!
