Compañeros and compañeras, receive a combative salute on part of the organization, The Voice of Indigenous Resistance, adherent of the Sixth Declaration of the Lacandon Jungle of the EZLN. Detained in Prison No. 5 of San Cristóbal de las Casas.
We are prisoners in struggle that have organized against the injustices of the bad governments that rule over us. They have done us a lot of harm. The bad governments want us to remain with our arms crossed, but we are not going to give them the pleasure. We have to continue organizing ourselves, to carry out events, actions or other acts related to the struggle.
For International Women’s day, we commend the Zapatista women, the women of the network of resistance and rebellion. It is tremendous that you organize and make visible your struggle. You all make your voices heard for the cause, so that those of above—the governors—realize that the women of the struggle and resistance know how to fight for their rights and organize.
We urge everyone to continue forward in rebellion, because we know that changes take place through struggle.
That is why this March 8th, we as the organization, the Voice of Indigenous Resistance, share this communiqué to congratulate the dignified women for their struggle and rebellion against the bad governments of the contemporary world.
The organization sends a fraternal embrace to all the women in struggle and resistance.
From the state of Chiapas, in Prison No. 5, San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, we send a combative salute to the women in communities and towns of Mexico and the world that are in struggle and resistance against the bad governments.
Uniting the voices and forces of the Mexican people, true justice will be achieved.
