Trans Woman, Pamela Sandoval Ramirez, Murdered in Her Beauty Salon

This is a press release from Casa de las Muñecas Tiresias, AC. Mexico has the second most transgender murders in the world behind Brazil. Over 200 transgender people have been killed in the last 3 years, mainly women. This is the first trans murder this year.

Pamela Sandoval Ramirez, 38 years old and originally from Mexico City was murdered in her beauty salon located in the Chimalhuacan, State of Mexico.

According to first reports, this attack occurred Saturday night and Ramirez’s  body was found on Monday morning with visible signs of violence.

This trans murder is the first recorded in the six-year term of Andrés Manuel López Obrador. From Casa de las Muñecas Tiresias AC, we demand truth and justice in this and all cases of trans people who have been murdered.
